The Credit Conservatory
Virtual credits
Virtual credits are the only currency of the Golden Meadow Society, and they are deliberately worth nothing outside it. They exist so that the games can keep score and an evening can have a little structure — never as money, and never as a path to it.
Granted, not purchased
Credits are provided for play. There is no checkout, no balance to top up, and no payment of any kind. You cannot deposit money to receive more, because there is nothing to deposit into.
No value, in or out
- Virtual only — credits are a gameplay token and nothing more.
- No cash value — they are never worth money, at any time.
- No deposits — you cannot pay in.
- No withdrawals — you cannot cash out.
- Not redeemable — they buy no goods, prizes, or rewards.
- Not exchangeable — they cannot be traded or transferred.
Why it works this way
Removing money is the whole point. It keeps the Society firmly within social entertainment and well away from gambling. What's left is play for its own sake — which, we think, is the better evening anyway.
Replenishing your balance
Should your virtual balance run low, every chamber includes a Reset control that restores it instantly. No cost, no wait, no consequence — because none of it was ever money.
